Electioneering reaches its peak for 4th Phase of Lok Sabha polls
Campaigning has reached a feverish pitch for the fourth phase of General elections with political parties making all efforts to woo the voters. 71 constituencies, spread over nine states, will go to polls in this phase on Monday.
Senior BJP leader and Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed an election rally at Sidhi disctict in Madhya Pradesh on Friday. Prime Minister said that alternative schemes will be drawn up for tribal farmers, horticulture, irrigation and fisheries. The Prime Minister mentioned that KISAN credit cards have also been given to those engaged in animal husbandry.
Addressing a rally at Jabalpur on Friday, the Prime Minister said, he believes that the poor need to be financially stable and so he converted all the post offices into banks.
On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi filed his nomination from Varanasi parliamentary constituency. BJP President Amit Shah held a public meeting at Jalore district in Rajasthan.
Referring to the party’s manifesto, PM Modi said that pension would be provided to the farmers and small merchants. Prime Minister also said that farmers will be given interest free loans.
Congress President Rahul Gandhi addressed a public meeting at Samastipur in Bihar. He said, the Lok Sabha election is a fight to save the Constitution and the country.
Rahul Gandhi appealed to the people to exercise their right to franchise consciously. The Congress president also addressed rally at Balasore in Odisha.
In Delhi, candidates of BJP, Aam Aadmi Party and Congress held roadshows and public meetings in their constituencies to woo the voters.
