Gill had his best season with the bat so far in his IPL career this year, as he has scored 851 runs in 16 matches with an incredible average of 60.79. The 23-year-old had scored three centuries in the last four games, with 129 off just 60 balls helping GT defeat MI and move into the final of IPL 2023.
